We got a very warm and helpful welcome. The building, despite being a hotel, doesn't have that cheap, prefab style elements you'll find in too many hotels these days. It has a very traditional and authentic appearance with a touch of old grandeur which makes you feel a traveller, rather than a tourist. The room, with practical furnishing, has plenty of space and was cleaned thorougly by the staff (even our own wine glasses were cleaned, 1st time ever!!). Located close to an all too cozy café and some very fine resaurants. A 5 minutes car or bus trip brings you straight to the mighty beautiful Val Ferret or, if you take the other direction, to Courmayeur.

Very good breakfast, amazing staff at the reception. The laundry service offered by the hotel was highly appreciated, especially after a few days of hiking in the rain. They were extra careful with the wool garments, which is not something that many laundries do.

The location of the property is excellent, just at the boundaries of the village and forest. Would totally recommend to have a walk around the property and discover the area including Ermitage. The hotel it self is as if it comes from fairy tale with tasteful decoration. The staff were very friendly and helpful trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Een betere locatie kan je niet vinden in Courmayeur/ La Palud. Meteen aan de voet van de Mont Blanc. De gastfamilie die het hotel uitbaten zijn zeer gastvrij, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeer mooie en ruime kamer, en een zeer goed uitgebreid ontbijt met alles wat je kan bedenken! Echt een aanrader!!

Fantastisch! Alles zeer mooi en stijlvol ingericht met prachtig massief meubilair, ruime kamers, ontbijt super, locatie perfect, op 5 km van de Mont-Blanc tunnel, in het thermenstadje Pré-Saint-Didier. Zicht op de Mont-Blanc, super lekker eten, echte pizza-oven in het restaurant. Sympathieke uitbaters en personeel. De motorfiets staat veilig in de zeer goed verlichte ondergrondse parkeergarage. We mochten die zelfs gratis gebruiken! Ik kwam hier terug na 3 jaar en mijn verwachtingen werden weer overtroffen!

We had a fantastic stay at Auberge de la Maison. Most of all we absolutely loved the staff, every one of them was extremely helpful and friendly. The reception staff went out their way to help us and it never felt like it was a burden to them. The bar staff are excellent! And make a wonderful gin sour. The cleaning staff are fabulous, not a spot of dust anywhere and our room was cleaned to a high standard. The turnover service at night is a great wee bonus, first time we've experience this in a hotel. The transfer service is very good, never a long wait and the drivers are friendly and helpful too. Restaurant staff also great and we enjoyed the breakfast. They all really went above and beyond, definitely the best staff we have experienced in a hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a wonderful location. The attention to detail in every part of the hotel really stands out. We felt quite at home and didn't want to leave after our week here.

The hotel was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve stayed at many grand, expensive resorts/hotels. But none had the attention to detail and customer service that Au Coeur Des Neiges has. Incredible staff. Just a phenomenal experience. Every room scented to perfection. Every shelf or nook decorated beautifully. Amazing place.
